Solar Reverses

References to the Red Sun are commonplace on the obverse of Maozhang, most often as radiant striations emanating from the Chairman; the solar disc is also often depicted, particularly rising above ocean waves. As a reverse symbol, however, the sun is present only on a very few badges.
