Train on Bridge

The train on bridge trope acknowledged the expansion of China's railway network engendered by the Third Front, and the tremendous feats of engineering this involved. Additionally, placing the train of history on a bridge could be read as symbolising the transition from the feudal past to the communist future.

This interpretation is reinforced on the two badges below by having the train emerge from a tunnel (past darkness) into the glorious light of the Great Red Sun.
